Hello OPAL community, Happy May Day! It’s a beautiful day out in the front courtyard and with our new sign I thought I would share a peek. I hope you feel welcome to come by and enjoy the beautiful garden and even do a little plein air painting or drawing if you feel so inspired. There are always new events and opportunities unfolding here at OPAL and it reminds me how much like a springtime garden this organization can seem. It’s exciting to plan and plant and watch these grow. There are our colorful perennial classes, occasional workshops, ever-changing exhibitions in the gallery and special events that only happen once. We certainly don’t want you to miss those!
Our annual fundraising gala An Evening Under the Starry Night, is one such event and only about a month away! You are invited to join the party! Tickets are now available on our website. We’ve added an under $100 ticket option this year to make the event more accessible. Enjoy live music from the Woodstreet Bloodhounds, delectable bites, beverages and desserts along with raffle and silent auction packages and some surprises too! Take a look at our latest crop of new and upcoming events. We hope to see you and your art soon at OPAL. Bryan Northup Executive Director
