Become a Member

Membership is open to all - professional artists, amateur artists and art supporters and enthusiasts!

All membership levels receive discounts on classes and workshops, invitations to receptions, other special programming and receive monthly OPAL NEWSletter and email communication. All memberships are renewable annually on the join date.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

  • ARTIST MEMBER ($100/year) - This membership level is available to any adult (age 19+).

    • Member pricing on all classes and workshops

    • Member pricing on exhibition fees and special event admission

    • Eligible to submit artwork to semi-annual Artist Member Exhibitions (2 per year), plus all other OPAL exhibitions.

    • One free entry into the Anniversary Spring Member Exhibition

    • Artist Profile Page in the Online Artist Member Directory

    • Greater social media exposure

    • Inclusion in online exhibitions & documentation

    • Additional opportunities in the community to exhibit and share your art.

  • ARTIST MEMBER HOUSEHOLD ($150/year includes 2 adults + $25 per additional *(adult or youth).
    Limit 4 people per household and all must reside at the same address. Same benefits and discounts as the Art Member category.

  • YOUNG ARTIST MEMBER ($40/year) - Young Art Members (age 18 and younger) receive the same benefits and discounts as Adult Art Members.


  • ART SUPPORTER ($75/year) - This membership level is available to any individual interested in basic membership to support OPAL’s mission and who is an adult (age 19+). Benefits include fee discounts on classes and workshops, exhibition fee discounts not included.
    The Art Supporter category cannot show in Art Member-only exhibitions but can submit artwork to all other OPAL exhibitions.

  • ART SUPPORTER HOUSEHOLD ($100/year includes 2 adults + $25 per additional *(adult or youth).

    • Mail membership fees via check to: the Oak Park Art League at 720 Chicago Avenue, Oak Park, IL 60302

    • Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday: 1-5pm, and Saturday: 1-4pm. Membership fees are accepted by cash, check, and credit card when paying in OPAL’s gallery business office.
