Come for a fun day of painting, collaging, and image transferring and walk away with a bundle of cards and an ornament. Students are welcome to create non-holiday themed items as well. Instructor will demonstrate a variety of mixed media techniques and offer individual assistance as needed, however, this is not a step-by-step instruction class, it is more of an open studio event.

There is a basic supply list of paint, drawing tools, brushes, etc. for participants to bring, and instructor will provide cards, envelopes, ornament surfaces, and ribbon, glitter, and other festive extras.

Any and all of these items that you might want to experiment with. Please don’t feel like you need to bring all of them.

Acrylic paints in whatever colors desired (watercolors welcome, too)

Brushes, pencil, eraser, sharpener

Water container and paper towels

Gel medium/glue

Any materials you want to use for collage, image transfer, stamp or stencil

Palette or palette paper

Scissors or xacto knife

Sketching paper and any other papers you might want to use besides provided cards, envelopes and ornaments
