Straight Ahead: Intro to Stop-Motion

Objects come to life in stop-motion one frame at a time, in a mode of animation known as straight-ahead. To build a performance, each frame is destroyed to create the next. This hands-on workshop is a primer in the production skills and principles of stop-motion animation. Students will learn to craft paper cut-out puppets, collaborate on an exquisite corpse and be introduced to a selection of techniques to create their own stop-motion animated films.

They are currently in post-production on their debut feature film "Tropical Rain, Death-Scented Kiss", a co-production of Total Blur Productions, Momo Film Co, and Daluyong Studios.
