Relief Printmaking: Hand-printed Notecards

Friday April 26th, 1pm-4pm

Learn how to cut, carve, and print linoleum blocks to make a set of notecards. This three hour workshop will cover the basics of relief printmaking, a reductive form of printmaking wherein negative space is removed from a block, and only the image positive remains. Topics include translating your ideas to a block and carving techniques, as well as proper inking and how to print by hand. Students will leave with 4 notecards. All levels welcome.
