OPAL Satellite Exhibitions

The Oak Park Art League is offering members a chance to display their work outside our main gallery in local businesses we have partnered with to provide more exhibition opportunities for artists.

We are now accepting submissions for future slots at community business partners, Prairie Title Company, West Cook YMCA. The exhibitions will typically change every 3 to 4 months. Some spaces may request themed work. More information on the Prairie Title space and how their exhibitions work will be shared once you complete the submission form.

Maze Branch Library Art Exhibition:
Art Transforms: An Exhibition by the Oak Park Art League

July 1-30, 2026

Linda Dunbar Karen Sugay Bryan Northup

To acknowledge Plastic Free July and the ongoing need for awareness about the harmful effects of plastic production and pollution on the planet and ourselves, three local artists associated with the Oak Park Art League—Linda Dunbar, Bryan Northup and Karen Sugay—have joined forces to share how art can reclaim common trash and transform it into aesthetically pleasing art objects. The artists exhibit their different works illustrating how they have used art to upcycle plastic and will host an artist talk and hands-on community workshop on July 11 at Maze Branch.
