ART For Social Change: FOOD for THOUGHT
Community Fridge Project & Oak Park Art League unite art and action this holiday season
This November & December, join us for multi-faceted programming addressing food insecurity through creativity and community engagement. As holiday need intensifies nationwide, our partnership brings together artists, neighbors, and changemakers to make a tangible difference.
Programming Highlights:

Thought-provoking artwork exploring our relationship with food, access, and community care. Part of the Fall of Freedom
Holiday Food Drive — Ongoing through Dec 20
Collecting donations and raising awareness about food insecurity in our community and across the nation. See what is needed the most and drop off at OPAL.
Holiday Bazaar Maker’s Market Pop-up - December 13, 10am - 4pm, Dec 14, 1-4pm
A weekend-long holiday market Pop-up at the Oak Park Art League and will feature local makers selling their creations in our gallery.
Looking Ahead: Oak Park Art League will become a future Community Fridge site following kitchen renovations, expanding access to free, nutritious food for our neighbors.
Every workshop attended, artwork viewed, and meal donated helps address the growing crisis of food insecurity—especially critical during the holidays when need is greatest.
Join us in turning awareness into action and creativity into care for the community.
