Capture flowers, foliage and the energy of summer with a cyanotypes workshop! We will create imagery without drawing, arranging fresh blossoms and plants on pre-treated paper to produce blue and white prints using this alternative photographic printing process. Learn which steps to take to improve the results you get in the development stage. We will work with the sun, or a special UV light, making this easy, rewarding project repeatable at home year-round under all weather conditions.
Instructor will provide the use of a UV light and some pressed leaves, but feel free to bring your own dried foliage and flowers to work with. Students are invited to wander the OPAL garden for a sprig or two.
