UIC Student Veterans Affairs Presents:
Never Forget: 9/11 25th Anniversary,
a commemorative exhibition opens at National Veterans Art Museum in partnership with University of Illinois Chicago's Student Veterans Affairs.
Join us for the premiere of our documentary, Voices of Remembrance featuring the stories of 25 UIC students, faculty, staff, and alumni who share their recollection of the day and the cascading consequences of the attacks.
The documentary was produced by Creative and Digital Services and edited by, Abel Nazario. Join us in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood at NVAM.
Screening begins at 5:30pm on Friday, September 11, 2026. Opening reception begins at 6pm.
Voices of Remembrance accompanies an installation of 25 black and white photographic portraits by Lisa Atwood.
